&nbIt is just so amazing to me how quickly children grow. This picture was taken just last week at Anna's last day of swimming lessons. It seems as if just yesterday she was 2 feet tall and couldn't speak too well. And now she is going to first grade in just a couple of weeks. Anywho, hope you all enjoy the picture. I am a proud sister, who almost feels like she is my own child.
Craig and I are settling in well in Ruston. We have really been praying for the Lord to lead us to a church home that we can become a part of and we are happy to say that it looks like Cook Baptist Church is going to be our new church home. This church is on fire for the Lord.
The pastor has been there a little under a year, and just last week that called a new youth minister and university minister and both excepted the call. Brother Mike, pastor, preaches the Word. He doesn't skip around the "sticky" issues as some might call them, in fact, he says that is someone tells him not to stay on a certain topic for too long, he says that he thinks he will stay there even longer.
All in all, Craig and I are excited to be in a church family that is a praying community and they aren't afraid to do whatever it takes to reach out to others and share the gospel. Check out the website. It's still under construction.
